happy gardening?
serious work requires serious footwear, brother's if necessary
We lost a limb from the shade maple. It provided a sweet smelling play structure for a few days, and then we turned it into kindling and a climbing log. The enormous black snake had to find a new home (we will never say where, Nana) and we lost our clothes line in the process too.
The dogwood parade. Hot and a little boring. No tractors.

We had a visit from our dear westcoast transplanted to the eastcoast friends. It was a story crossed between toddler training camp and country mouse-city mouse. Pictured below: walks in the woods and by water, cleaning out gnome homes, general cuteness.

From today...we measured the children's feet and the birds are a mere 1/4 inch shorter than her brothers. I guess that would explain why she keeps taking her shoes off saying "foot. hurt" Time for new shoes. again.
