September: more work on the yurt... finally made these kids earn their keep around here.
ever wonder what eight and a half gallons of apple sauce looks like? there is most of it.
Then there was October, the Bird turns three and here is her bike.
Here she is seeing her bike for the first time...
Lets get a close-up of that face, shall we?
The Birds first day of school...
And the reason why the Boy has to be closely supervised while dressing himself for school.
Then there is November, and the Boy turns FIVE YEARS OLD. For serious. Five.
His one request for his birthday was a train cake. (Please refrain from posting comments. We all know that fancy cake making is not my forte.)
And gasping for breath we come to December, the month when both my children were hospitalized with a respiratory virus, thank you steroids. We made some ornaments to give away for presents and found the worlds most perfect christmas tree. It is still kicking around our yard, well loved by the children. ( We will NOT be burning this one, I have been informed)
whew.
