boy: but where did she get born from?
me: from her mama.
boy: but where did she get born from? (using arm gestures to place emphasis on the emphatic nature of the questioning)
me: from her mama and her mama before her, and her mama before her, all the way back to the first mama.
boy: who made that mama?
me: she was the earth mother
boy: but who made her?
me: that is the best question in the world that no one really knows the answer to....mother earth and creator made her
boy: who is that?
me: the one who makes things into being.
boy: oh. (continues getting ready for bed)
me: (whew)
