The first sighting of the morning. Lets get a closer look at that Christmas face, shall we?
Nini opening her stocking...we knew it was hers because there was a bottle of wine next to it. And it was full of chocolate. And a flamingo ornament.

Striped Pj's a blazin' before dawn we are downstairs discovering what was under the tree...surprisingly the Boy did not wildly rip into everything with a stuff driven frenzy. He opened one thing at a time. Really. And looked at it until he was satisfied. In this way it took us about two hours to completely open every thing. The bird didn't really notice the presents until they were right in front of her.

She noticed the candy cane though.

So the conclusion of the morning is that they each could have had a basket of candy canes, two books and some clementines and would have been perfectly happy, not to mention sticky. Now that we have had our breakfast and the house is finally warming up, they are playing with matchbox cars, stickers, headbands and reading books with Nini. Merry merry everyone.
